Security Manager

Your employment contract will be managed by Eni International Resources Ltd (EIRL).
Main responsibilities:- Implement and monitor Eni programmes and procedures for the protection of Eni personnel, assets, accommodation, facilities and other interests;
- Implement Eni programmes and procedures for crisis management, emergency response and journey management;
- Review physical security measures and ensure that proper security systems are in place and functional in all existing facilities;
- Supervise manned and technical security contracts, ensuring compliance with Eni standards of service;
- Assist in emergency and contingency planning;
- Ensure security support in major meetings;
- Establish security information networks and provide “real-time” security advice to management and staff;
- Provide support to The Employer when analysing the risk of infiltration by organized crime;
- Provide security and crime prevention advice to company employees;
- Intervene promptly, together with The Employer, when a dangerous situation arises and threatens the safety of employees, contractors and third-parties as well as protecting the asset and Eni's reputation;
- Monitor the political environment for developments that could impact the safety of employees or the protection of assets;
- With reference to the monitoring of Security services and events, inform The Employer and the Central Security Functions on every event that is relevant to security that occurred within the area in question or in the pertinent productive units/organizational structures - including human rights violations - in accordance with procedures established in Eni's regulations;
- Co-ordinate protective support for personal protection;
- Develop security awareness among staff through training and management;
- Establish and maintain effective liaison with local Police, security forces, embassies and other relevant organisations;
- Develop a network of supplemental security resources, which support area security activities, if any;
- Liaise with Eni Central Security Function to ensure best practice standards are maintained;
- Provide assistance and monitor public relations and community engagement programmes as part of the wider security risk programme.
Skills and experience required :
- Previous experience in the oil and gas industry.
- Police/military background.
- Must possess negotiation skills and have demonstrated knowledge of diplomacy when dealing with multi-cultural issues for all stakeholders.
- Fluent in Spanish and English (spoken and written).
- At least 5 years of experience in security management.
